Big Thanks to Dan Maher

All Strings Considered would like to send a big hug and lots of thanks to Dan Maher, host of Inland Folk on National Public Radio.  We were featured in June of 2008, and Dan very graciously said wonderful things about our group AND played ASC during the week of the Wenatchee Bluegrass Festival, so we ended up sharing the air with a great group called The Infamous Stringdusters.  Dan played at least three of our tracks from our album  “A Place in the Heart”.

I think one of our highest compliments came when my own daughter (and how often do parents and children agree on music tastes?)  used a our title track from the CD for her wedding. She definitely has grown into a fine young woman with a spendid variety of musical tastes.  She even had Dan Maher and Connie Celustka singing at her wedding.  Also a huge treat for all of us.

To those of you who HEAR music, and have a deep longing to learn how to play an instrument, or get better at the one you play, you can contact Connie or Tanya at the Wood’s House Conservatory of Music in Wenatchee Washington.  http://www.woodshouse.org

CD’s are selling fast, so be sure to get all you need for Christmas gifts!
