What’s New

Hello! This post is long overdue. We apologize for the delay.

Tanya is back from her very exciting summer tour of Scotland, Wales, Ireland, and England with The Continentals Alumni Tour. She says, “I never had to play so many barre chords in different keys in my life!” She played rhythm guitar for the band which backed up the Continental Singers on stage.  Apparently her favorite country was Scotland, as she is heading back next summer. She has been busy shaping up her private students for holiday concerts, and now Solo and Ensemble contest. Also working with a student string quartet at a local church.

All Strings is gearing up for a variety of events, two of which are public events, so you all can come and hear our new tunes, and enjoy the old favorites!

February 13th, 2010 @ 7-9pm at The Cascade Community Coffeehouse - Sunset Highway, East Wenatchee

February 14th, 2010 @ 6-8:30pm  We’re back at Inna’s Cuisine for Valentine’s Day for the 3rd year in a row!

If you haven’t tried Inna’s Cuisine on the avenue in downtown Wenatchee, it’s time you did!  She and her staff really know how to treat you right and make sure you and your sweetheart are happy. You can make it a family event too, that way, everyone’s bellies will be happy! All Strings will be playing from the “ceiling stage” once again. We lovingly call it that because when Tanya stands up, her head is inches from the ceiling. No worries, YOU will be comfortably seated, FAR from the ceiling.  It’s kind of our Mary Poppins gig I guess. Not as far as music, just the feeling of floating near the ceiling. As always we will play great dinner background music, and throw in a few rippers only for those that have been seated for more than four hours!

You can also hear Tanya play on Friday February 12th, 2010 at the Barn Reserve in Leavenworth Washington. She will be playing with The Michael Carlos Band.

Sherry, Connie, and Tanya all managed to find themselves in the Pit of Siam in November 2009. Connie played clarinet, Tanya played violin, and Sherry conducted the school district musical, The King and I. All Strings Considered had a blast playing in the pit orchestra (Pit of Siam).

We have a special request. If you come and read this blog, please take a moment to sign the guestbook.

Thank you very much. See you soon!
